Team Development

ICE have worked with a range of diverse teams helping them to be successful together.

Successful team players possess a combination of three essential cores — humility, hunger, and people aware—and these core building blocks enable teamwork and make it more likely members can overcome challenges both interpersonally and collective in their work. We know that when people are under pressure their behaviours are demasked. We also recognise that stability and flexibility are really important and that people who have strong cores of humility, hunger for the mission and are really people aware (its like emotional intelligence yet just not as complex) they seldom get derailed.

HUMBLE team players lack excessive ego or concerns about status. Humble people are quick to point out the contributions of others and slow to seek attention for their own. They share credit, emphasize team over self and define success collectively rather than individually.

HUNGRY team players are always looking for more. More things to do. More to learn. More responsibility to take on. Hungry people almost never have to be pushed by a manager to work harder because they are self-motivated and diligent. They are constantly thinking about the next step and the next opportunity .

PEOPLE AWARE team players have common sense about people. They tend to know what is happening in a group situation and how to deal with others in the most effective way. They have good judgment and intuition around the subtleties of group dynamics and the impact of their words and actions on others

ICE have worked with thousands of teams helping them to be successful together, beyond the best imagination.
